Horizontal Bar Chart

The horizontal bar chart is the same as bar chart but the orientation is horizontal. The x-axis of the chart shows the attributes and the other axis shows the measured value. 

This chart option is visible only if

  1. Search term with at least one measure and one attribute 
  2. Number of attribute data values must be less than 50

Types of horizontal bar charts

Categorical Horizontal bar chart

Not-time attribute placed in the y-axis. Measure placed in the x-axis. Best for not-time attribute comparison.  

Time Series Horizontal Bar chart 

Time attribute placed in y-axis with the measure in the x-axis. Best for time series comparison.  

Categorical Horizontal Multi-Bar Chart

Not-time attribute placed in Y-axis. Measure placed in X-axis. Time attribute represented by the color. Best for comparing not-time attributes.

This chart option is visible only if

  1. Search term with at least one measure and two attributes.

Time Series Horizontal Multi-Bar chart

Time attribute placed in Y-axis. Measure placed in X-axis. Not-time attribute represented by color. Best for comparing not-time attributes in that time period.

This chart option is visible only if

  1. Search term with at least one measure, one-time attribute and one not-time attribute
