KOU
BEFORE YOU APPLY
The questions, answered plainly.
- Is this multi-level marketing?
- No, and the difference is structural rather than a matter of tone. You are never paid for recruiting anyone, there is no downline, and no part of your income depends on other partners joining. There is nothing to buy to start and no inventory to hold. You are paid 5% of what a customer you brought actually pays us, every month they keep paying it. If you never speak to another partner, your income is unaffected.
- What does it cost to join?
- Nothing. There is no joining fee, no training fee, no annual licence and no minimum. The Academy is free and the certificates are yours to keep whether or not you ever place a deal. If a partner programme asks you to pay to participate, that is the thing to be careful about.
- Are the numbers in the calculator what I will earn?
- No. They are arithmetic on published list prices, and they assume every customer stays and pays full price with no discount, no churn and no gap between deals. Nobody has earned those figures — we say so on the page and on every shared card. They exist so you can see how the model compounds, not to forecast your income. Real results depend on your market, your effort and factors neither of us controls.
- When and how am I paid?
- Monthly, in arrears, on collected revenue — meaning after the customer has actually paid us, not when they were invoiced. Commission continues for the life of the account. If a customer cancels, the commission stops; there is no clawback on months already collected.
- What happens to my customers if I stop?
- They stay with us and continue to be supported. Your commission stops when you stop, because it is paid for an ongoing relationship rather than a finder’s fee. If you want to hand an account to another partner, we will help arrange it.
- Do I need to be technical?
- You need to be able to sit with a business owner and understand what is going wrong. The deployment side is what the Academy is for, and the platform products are built to be stood up in hours rather than months. The partners who do best are usually the ones who already know an industry, not the ones who already know the software.
- Is there a territory, or a limit on where I can work?
- No territories and no exclusivity, in either direction. You can work anywhere you can legally do business, and we do not promise anyone a protected patch — a promise like that is only worth something if we are willing to turn away the next good partner in your city, and we are not.
- How many partners are there?
- Cohort one is not full and the partner directory is empty, because we have not started. We would rather tell you that than invent a number. It is also the honest reason to apply now rather than later: the enquiries that arrive through this site currently have nobody to go to.
